{"id":3201,"date":"2024-06-18T10:44:11","date_gmt":"2024-06-18T08:44:11","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/polysense.poliba.it\/?p=3201"},"modified":"2024-06-18T10:44:11","modified_gmt":"2024-06-18T08:44:11","slug":"new-publication-on-photoacoustics-journal-26","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/polysense.poliba.it\/index.php\/2024\/06\/18\/new-publication-on-photoacoustics-journal-26\/","title":{"rendered":"New Publication on Photoacoustics Journal"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The PolySense team has just published\u00a0 a new article on Photoacoustics Journal Elsevier (IF 7.9)\u00a0 reporting on  a computational and experimental fluid dynamics study for the characterization of the flow field within the gas chamber of a Quartz-Enhanced Photoacoustic Spectroscopy (QEPAS) sensor, at different flow rates  at the inlet of the chamber. The transition from laminar to turbulent regime is ruled both by the inlet flow conditions and dimension of the gas chamber. The study shows how the distribution of the flow field in the chamber can influence the QEPAS sensor sensitivity, at different operating pressures.
