Huadan Zheng received his B.S. degree and PhD degree in physics from State Key Laboratory of Quantum Optics and Quantum Optics Devices, Shanxi University, China, in 2012 and 2018, respectively. From Aug. 2016 to Sep. 2017, he worked as a joint PhD student in the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department, Rice University, Houston, USA. From Aug 2018 to Oct 2020, he worked as an assistant professor in the Department of Optoelectronic Engineering, Jinan University, China. Now he is an associate tenured associate professor at Jinan University. Zheng won the Wang Daheng Optical Award in 2017, which is the highest award in Chinese optics. He also won the national excellent doctoral dissertation in optics award of China 2018. He is guest editor for Sensors journal and Frontiers in Physics.

 

Research interests

His research interests include optical sensors, trace gas detection, and laser photoacoustic spectroscopy.
