11/10/2019. Houston. The PolySense team presented at ASTRO project meeting in Rice University the first QEPAS prototype for sensing-on-drone. The technology will open the way to air pollution monitoring exploiting the potentiality of drone systems.
The PolySense team has just published a new article on Analytical Chemistry reporting on a the realization of a QEPAS sensor for simultaneous dual gas detection of Methane/Nitric Oxide and water vapor with sensitivity down to few ppbs, by simultaneously exciting two in-plane flexural vibrational mode of a custom QTF. The PolySense team has just published a new article on Sensors and Actuators B Chemical reporting on a the realization of a QEPAS sensor for CH4 detection with vibrational to translational (V-T) relaxation self-calibration via simultaneous detection of water vapor concentration, exploiting a custom QTF operating in both the fundamental and first overtone flexural mode.
