The PolySense team has just published a new article on Photoacoustics Journal Elsevier (IF 8.48) reporting on the realization of an intracavity QEPAS sensor for CO, N2O and H2O detection, employing a quartz tuning fork with T-shaped prongs and a QCL operating at 4.59 µm. Exploiting a ~100 optical power amplification enabled by a high finesse cavity, limits of detection (3σ, 10 s integration) of 260 ppt and 750 ppt for CO and N2O have been achieved.
